Brianna Chickenfry’s BFF Grace O’Malley blasts Zach Bryan
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia‘s best friend Grace O’Malley dragged Zach Bryan during an appearance at a live comedy show.
O’Malley was blindfolded onstage in an “UpDating” video posted on YouTube Monday while being interviewed about her online dating experience. She explained that men on Hinge tend to ask her about her Barstool Sports boss, Dave Portnoy, or “other people” instead of getting to know her.
“Who are the other people involved?” the host asked, to which O’Malley replied, “Neither here nor there.”
The coy response prompted an audience member to shout out Bryan’s name, eliciting a colorful reaction from LaPaglia’s “PlanBri Uncut” podcast co-host.
“F–k that motherf–ker,” O’Malley, 26, shouted into the mic as the crowd cheered.
“People will be asking me for tickets [to his concerts]. I’m like, ‘I don’t f–k with that guy,’” she continued.
O’Malley was then asked how witnessing LaPaglia’s breakup from Bryan has helped her figure out what kind of guy she is looking to date.
“I don’t f–k with a hick with a vendetta, that’s for sure,” she joked.
Bryan, 28, confirmed he and LaPaglia, 25, had ended their year-long relationship by sharing a cryptic message on his Instagram Story in October.
“I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways,” he wrote at the time, adding, “I am not perfect and never will be.”
LaPaglia shared that she was “blindsided” by Bryan’s public announcement of their split, claiming he had not warned her before sharing the news with his 4.7 million Instagram followers.
She detailed the country singer’s alleged emotional abuse on her “BFFs” podcast, saying earlier this month, “I’m still scared right now because I’m scared of him.”
LaPaglia accused Bryan of being a manipulating love-bomber who would scream at her and cause her to cry herself to sleep at night.
“It was just this constant cycle of build you up, beat you down … apologize over and over and over,” she said.
The influencer went on to share that the Grammy winner had bought her an engagement ring, only to break things off and offer her $12 million to sign a nondisclosure agreement so she would not publicly discuss their relationship, which she turned down.
LaPaglia is now in the process of healing with intensive therapy and recently swore off re-entering the dating pool.
“I’m married to my career. I’m never dating anyone ever again,” she told Page Six exclusively Saturday in the paddock at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The podcaster did, however, stress that she does not hate all men despite her toxic relationship with Bryan, who has yet to publicly respond to her allegations.
“No love given is love lost,” she said. “Sometimes you get stuck with a bad guy, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t good men out there. I’ve dated really good men.”
LaPaglia shared that she never plans to date a celebrity again.
“Money is a scary thing, especially with men [and] men in power,” she said, adding that “men suck regardless” of their wealth but that having money allows them to “cover up all [their] s–t.”
“People just flock to famous people because it’s cool and it’s fun, and then there’s so much crazy s–t that goes on behind the scenes, and it’s not all as glamorous as you think,” she continued.
LaPaglia acknowledged she “ignored a lot of red flags” in her relationship but has felt so much support from her fan base since coming forward about her messy breakup.
“I didn’t understand how many people it was going to help, so it’s really cool. A lot of people are reaching out — people that you would never expect,” she said.
