Nets building winning culture more important than top lottery spot
PHOENIX — After the Nets started this road trip the worst way possible, they have a chance to end it better than anybody could’ve imagined Wednesday in Phoenix.
And get this, Nets fans: That’s a good thing.
There’s a subset of Brooklyn fans — small, but loud — that wring their hands and clutch their pearls with every win. They’re dead set on having the league’s worst record and putting all their eggs in a lottery basket labeled Cooper Flagg. And to paraphrase a great philosopher, victory is defeating them.
Don’t buy it.
