What Paige Spiranac plans to change with posts in new year
With four million Instagram followers and counting, Paige Spiranac certainly knows how to keep her audience engaged.
But as the longtime golf influencer, 31, shared Sunday in a candid Q&A, she wants to shake things up in the new year.
When fielding responses about the type of content to post in 2025, Spiranac told one fan she is “going to go back to just having fun” after “overthinking” some shares this past year.
“I always try to be my most authentic self on here but felt I started overthinking my posts this year,” Spiranac replied to a fan who told her, “Just be you in the raw. A kickass golfer with a beautiful smile and personality.”
Spiranac continued, “Next year, I’m going to go back to just having fun.”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum shared a variety of posts on her page over the past year, ranging from golf tips to career milestones.
Spiranac, who played collegiately and professionally before pivoting to social media, told fans in November she’s “been getting asked a lot to post more golf content” and that her passion for the sport has grown.
“It’s funny because this is the first year in a while where I actually practiced hard, played some really cool courses, and fell back in love with the game,” she shared on Instagram last month.
“I played more this year than I have in a long time and honestly, playing better than ever. I’ve always loved golf, but it’s been a love/hate relationship, which I’m sure we can all relate to at times lol. My scores were always tied into my self-worth, and playing just wasn’t that much fun. Until this year. I’m so passionate about the game and I should’ve shared more of that on here! I’m going to do that moving forward.”
Spiranac’s fans very much approve of the move.
“You’ve always had the talent. Now putting [sic] in the extra work to makewto [sic] see results. Congratulations on the Ace,” one follower commented.
“Your self-worth is much more than a score. Play the game. Enjoy the crap out of it and provide us ‘hackers’ the help we need and inspiration we all could use while looking great doing it! Golf is the perfect game of imperfections,” another replied.
