It was just shy of a year ago when the Knicks’ front office had a seismic decision to make.
The Knicks reportedly had been pursuing OG Anunoby for a minute, and the Raptors — despite being embroiled in a legal battle with the Knicks — finally had an offer on the table.
The price for Anunoby was two members of the Knicks young core, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley, as well as a second-round pick.
With the Knicks barely above .500, Leon Rose decided to make the move.
