Atmosphere
Like a cute cafe in Puebla, Mexico, with colorful walls and shelves filled with cheery sundries like framed photos, plants and picture books. The piano in the front might make you wonder if you’d accidentally walked into someone’s living room.

Noise Level
Quiet.

Recommended Dishes
The breakfast menu is the highlight, with masa pancakes, hibiscus “tinga” quesadillas, tortilla con huevo and the grilled cheese. Dinner standouts include mole negro, birria bone marrow and papas. Always ask for more tortillas. Breakfast and lunch dishes, $15 to $18; dinner dishes, $12 to $32.

Drinks and Wine
An interesting selection of beer and wine (mainly from Mexico) at dinner, and a variety of coffee drinks, including a wonderful cafe de olla, at breakfast.
