Madelaine Brockway, ‘wedding of the century’ bride, heiress pregnant with first baby husband Jacob LaGrone facing felony trial
The Texas heiress who went viral for her $59 million Parisian “wedding of the century” is expecting her first baby with her felony-suspect husband, who is facing time behind bars for allegedly shooting at three cops.
Madelaine Brockway shared the life-changing news on Instagram showing off an extravagant cake at her recent gender reveal party in Paris, France.
“18 weeks with our bean,” she wrote, tagging her husband Jacob LaGrone.
Brockway, the heir to several Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Florida, chowed down on a pink piece of cake, celebrating her unborn baby girl, photos showed.
The soon-to-be-dad, however, is in the middle of a court battle as he faces charges for felony aggravated assault against a public servant stemming from a March 2023 police shooting.
Police reported to a home in Tarrant County Texas after receiving multiple calls of a disturbance at the couple’s $1.4 million home following a night out, the Daily Mail reported.
The then-engaged couple’s fight spilled into the driveway before Brockway fled to her parents’ nearby home.
Bob Brockway, Madelaine’s father, went to the couple’s house and called for police to conduct a wellness check on LaGrone.
LaGrone allegedly shot at the three officers from inside his garage when police arrived.
He was arrested but was released from jail on a $20,000 bond.
LaGrone was indicted in Aug. 2023 for “intentionally and knowingly threaten[ed] imminent bodily injury” and “did use or exhibit a deadly weapon during the commission of the assault, namely, a firearm,” the indictment charges read.
The couple got married weeks after the felony indictment.
A lavish wedding was held at the Château de Villette, 25 miles northwest of Paris, for the pair’s nuptials
An over-the-top reception followed the ceremony at the Paris Operahouse.
Maroon 5 performed during the couple’s first dance, before putting on an entire private concert.
Brockway’s wedding also included an overnight stay at the Palace of Versailles.
Photos of the dream wedding went viral, boosting the once-unknown bride into an overnight sensation.
Her internet fame was short-lived as her husband was back stateside for a pre-trial court appearance, two weeks after their nuptials.
LaGrone stood with his head down inside the Tarrant County District Court without his wife by his side.
Brockway deleted her TikTok account and changed her Instagram to private over the court hearing.
The expectant mother has since made her Instagram public and continues to share her lavish lifestyle with her 47,000 followers — with zero mentions of her hubby’s legal troubles.
LaGrone was handed a plea deal that would give him 25 years behind bars forgoing a trial during the hearing.
If the case goes to trial and LaGrone is convicted, he faces anywhere between less than 5 years behind bars and life in prison.
A status conference for the case is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2025, according to court records viewed by The Post.
