In July 2023, The Eagles announced their ‘Long Goodbye Farewell Tour.’

Nearly a year and a half later, the Rock Hall of Famers are still going strong.

Now, after a little over a month off, they’ll pick up their ongoing ‘Eagles — Live In Concert at Sphere’ residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere on Jan. 17-18.

Then, the following weekend, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and the gang will return for another pair of gigs on Friday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 25.

Based on our findings, all of their shows are epic in scope marrying Sphere’s premier sound capabilities with the venue’s mind-melting, game-changing visuals.

“…the Eagles’ opening night would have to be qualified as a success,” Variety wrote in a review of the group’s first Sphere concert back on Sept. 20. “It used the wrap-around screen to surround the group and audience with dazzling, massive-scale starfields while still making clear that it’s the songs that are the star of the show. “

If you’d like to be there to hear “Take It Easy” and “Life In The Fast Lane” while taking in gorgeous 360-degree imagery, it isn’t too late to grab tickets for this weekend.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats was $298 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Too rich for your blood?

Other Eagles Sphere concerts down the road have tickets starting at $233 before fees.

Other shows at the Las Vegas Sphere

When Henley, Walsh, and co. aren’t bringing the hits to the Sphere stage, you can catch Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s ambitious immersive film “Postcard From Earth” or U2’s ‘V-U2’ concert film on most nights.

In March, Dead and Company will revive their residency that wrapped in August. Bobby Weir, John Mayer and co. have 18 shows lined up at the eye-popping entertainment epicenter.

Then, come May, Kenny Chesney takes over the reins for a 12-show stay.

The Eagles band members

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.

Still, after 50+ years together, 77-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.

At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 77-year-old Joe Walsh (who lent his talents to the James Gang), 77-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 31-year-old son Deacon.

Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed in 2016) and Randy Meisner (died in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitartist Don Felder, he tours with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin.

Over the course of their 53+ years together, the band has received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
