This isn’t the first time a public service announcement has been made about the concerns of toilet paper rolls in public restrooms.

Late last year, a TikTokker warned women against using public restrooms anywhere, saying serious health hazards are hiding in plain sight.

The user, Devan, urged viewers to check inside the toilet paper roll dispensers to see whether IV drug users had used them to wipe their needles.

In that video, he showed a picture of a toilet roll speckled with blood-like spots.

“This is from needle-using junkies going into the bathroom, taking that cover that’s over it [the toilet roll dispenser] off, sticking their needles in there and cleaning their needles,” Devan claimed.

He also said you should carry wipes of your own to ensure safety.
