Taylor Swift Super Bowl LIX wager one of the most popular bets ahead of the big game
It’s a Swiftie Super Bowl — and football fans are putting their money on the pop princess turned Kansas City Chiefs WAG.
Sports books are offering special wagers around Taylor Swift, who’s expected to be at Big Game cheering on her man Travis Kelce.
The most popular one is whether or not the songstress will perform at the halftime show with Kendrick Lamar, according to a report this week by the online sports betting community OLBG.
“It was originally a 16-1 shot but is now halved to 8-1,” Jake Ashton, OLBG senior news editor, told The Post.
Since Swift and Lamar collaborated on a 2015 remix of her single “Bad Blood” the possible performance seems like an obvious fit.
“The thought of ‘Bad Blood’ being part of his set feels realistic with Taylor already at the venue to cheer on Kelce,” Ashton said.
He also pointed out the musical duo’s close friendship, which was on display at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 2 — when Lamar took home five awards and Swift left empty-handed.
“The reaction that Taylor gave to Kendrick during his Grammy wins last weekend saw how strong their friendship is,” he added.
Other bet specials include whether Swift will be shown on TV during the National Anthem (3-1), if the Super Bowl MVP will mention the billionaire songstress during his speech (4-1) or if she will post a Kansas City Chiefs bet on her Instagram account, where she has 282 million followers (50-1).
Although there are rumors that the power couple is already engaged, other specials include Kelce getting down on one knee after the game (5-1), or popping the question and then retiring (25-1).
However, people seem to be over all the engagement speculation — and least when it comes to wagering — since bets on whether the tight end will get down on one knee are the least popular.
“Odds on Kelce proposing to her have been the weakest market with a drift from 4-1 up to 5-1 in the past five days or so,” Ashton said.
