Kamala Harris is a single mom who still doesn’t know who to vote for in 2024 election
Kamala Harris might not vote for Kamala Harris.
While Vice President Harris barnstorms the country in her race for the White House, Kamala A. Harris — a New Hampshire landscaper and single mom of three — doesn’t know who she’ll vote for in the 2024 presidential election.
“I heard that she slept her way into office,” the New Englander told The Post, referencing rumors about the 60-year-old Democratic nominee’s romance with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown early in her career. “I don’t really know enough about her. I only know rumors.”
There are more than two dozen Kamala Harrises living in the United States, and this Harris, 32, told The Post it’s led to amusing moments of mistaken identity.
“My PayPal does not have a picture attached to it so I have gotten a number of political donations from people who send them to the wrong place,” she said, estimating she has taken in about $120 so far.
“I keep it,” Kamala A. Harris admitted, though said she would return any money if anyone ever asked for it back.
A routine doctor’s visit once drew the entire hospital staff in giddy expectation of the vice president — only for them to be disappointed.
“My birthday is April 1, April Fool’s Day. So everyone kind of thinks it’s a joke.”
Originally from Florida, Kamala A. Harris has spent the last 17 years in New Hampshire.
She studied early childhood education at Manchester Community College, but never competed her degree.
She told The Post she had no idea why her parents named her Kamala.
“My mom told me a long, long time ago that my name means princess of the lilies,” she said.
Kamala, a Sanskrit work meaning “lotus,” is common name in Indian culture.
On the issues, Kamala A. Harris said she was struggling to “weed through the misinformation and figuring out what’s true and not true.”
She wasn’t sold on Trump either, naming abortion as her biggest issue.
“I am not a fan of Trump,” she offered matter-of-factly. “Honesty his followers are too aggressive and mean and angry.”
“One of the biggest issues that I personally have is Trump was trying to have Planned Parenthood shut down,” she said.
During his first administration, Trump repeatedly targeted the organization.
