Soccer’s red card wreckage can be fixed with no-brainer change

The punishment often doesn’t match the crime.

And it’s wrecking soccer games everywhere. 

It’s time for the red card rule to be amended. 

Too often, a player is sent off for two yellow cards for minor offenses, resulting in a red card and that team playing 10-on-11.
