Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos dress up as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for Halloween again
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are “so high school” dressed up as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce!
The “Live” co-hosts recreated the couple’s outfits from their day date at this year’s US Open for the show’s “Only Halloween in the Building” special, which airs on ABC Thursday.
Ripa, 54, looked chic in a red-and-white checkered dress similar to the Reformation Sora Linen Dress ($248) the pop star wore to the tennis tournament on Sept. 8.
The mom of three also matched the “Bad Blood” singer’s accessories with oval-shaped black sunglasses and brown sandals.
For his part, Consuelos channeled Kelce’s “country club” attire from the outing in a polo shirt, cardigan and beige shorts with a faux Gucci bucket hat.
The “Riverdale” alum, 53, completed his Halloween costume with a thick fake mustache.
In an interview with USA Today published Monday, the TV hosts revealed they had to get creative while recreating the NFL baller’s designer wardrobe.
“We don’t typically keep real Gucci there,” Ripa joked of the “Live” closet.
Consuelos also said he’s yet to meet Kelce but he “seems like a great guy and he’s funny.”
He added, “Who knows? He may see it and [be like], ‘Who’s that short guy trying to come off as me?’”
Ripa admitted she initially didn’t realize her costume was supposed to be the 14-time Grammy winner.
“I didn’t know what that was by the way,” she told USA Today in a video shared on X. “I didn’t know what he was and I didn’t know what I was.”
She confessed she “still didn’t know” who she was supposed to be even when the wardrobe team put the wig on her.
But the lightbulb finally clicked when she saw a viral clip of Swift, 34, and Kelce, 35, at the US Open.
The married co-hosts, who have several costumes for Thursday’s episode, also dressed up as the pop sensation and tight end for Halloween last year.
At the time, Ripa and Consuelos wore outfits paying homage to the first time Swift attended one of Kelce’s football games.
Consuelos recreated the athlete’s Chiefs uniform, while Ripa rocked a red-and-white jacket reminiscent of the singer.
