Cheapest Thanksgiving grocery, meal deals — one is just $20
It’s time to start thinking about your Thanksgiving meal, and some grocery stores are hoping to make it easier — and more affordable.
Several supermarkets have announced meal deals for the holiday, so you can make a delicious spread without hurting your wallet.
There’s a wide range of savings on both individual ingredients and already-prepared offerings.
Here are some of the deals from grocery stores that will help get you a yummy, cost-effective Thanksgiving feast:
Aldi
This year, ALDI is offering its lowest-priced Thanksgiving meal in five years, according to a press release. The grocery store is selling a full meal for 10 people for under $47.
The meal comes in at less than $4.70 per person and includes a Butterball turkey with spices, gravy,
rolls, mac & cheese, and stuffing, as well as the ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.
Amazon Fresh
Amazon Fresh’s bundle of Thanksgiving groceries serves six people for under $30.
When customers shop the selection of turkey and Amazon private label brand sides and desserts, they can get it all for less than $30, the company shared in a statement with Food & Wine, saying that it is “less than $5 per person and one of the best deals around.”
Through Nov. 28, customers can go to Amazon Fresh online or in-store to snag deals such as:
- Butterball turkeys at $0.49 per pound
- Instant mash potatoes from Amazon Fresh or 365 by Whole Foods Market
- Gravy mix from Happy Belly
- Stuffing mix from Amazon Fresh
- Canned green beans and corn from Amazon Fresh or Amazon Saver
- Dinner rolls from Amazon Fresh or Happy Belly
- Canned cranberries from Amazon Fresh
- Pies from Amazon Fresh
Additionally, if customers head to the Amazon Fresh Thanksgiving page, they’ll find deals including:

BJ’s Wholesale Club
BJ’s is bringing back its member-favorite free Butterball turkey promotion.
Through Nov. 14, members can get the opportunity to snag a gratis Butterball turkey by spending $150+ in the same transaction in-club or online. Then, starting Nov. 16, members will have access to their free turkey coupon, which can be redeemed through Nov. 27.
This year’s promotion is running longer than usual, giving members time to prepare and take advantage of BJ’s other savings, including 25% off grocery store prices every day.
Lidl
Lidl is bringing back its Thanksgiving Meal that feeds 10 people — for under $45.
According to a press release, this year’s meal is both bigger and cheaper than in previous years, coming to less than $4.50 per person.
The festive shopping list includes all the classics, including turkey, stuffing, gravy, rolls, mac & cheese, and the ingredients for sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, green bean casseroles and pumpkin pie.
Sam’s Club
If you don’t want to cook, Sam’s Club’s Thanksgiving meal is for you. Its offer is a Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people at $100.
The meal includes pre-packaged, already-cooked turkey, dinner rolls, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, brussels sprouts, cranberry crunch salad and sweet potato mash.
Target
Target announced the return of its popular Thanksgiving Meal — and it’s $5 cheaper this year, serving four people for just $20.
The $20 meal can easily be doubled to serve eight and has all the traditional Thanksgiving favorites, including:
Additionally, Good & Gather Turkey will start at 79 cents per pound — 20% less than last year and the lowest price since 2020. Side dishes such as Good & Gather Cheddar Mac and Cranberry Goat Cheese Log, as well as desserts including Favorite Day apple and pumpkin pie, all around $5.
Walmart
Walmart is offering a Thanksgiving meal that comes out to under $7 per person — and it will still be available after the holiday ends.
The retailer is offering an “inflation-free meal” at a lower price than last year from now through Dec. 24.
Walmart’s meal consists of 29 items — including a turkey valued at 88 cents per pound — and serves eight people.
The bundle includes:
