Amy Schumer Tells ‘The View’ She Schedules Sex With Her Husband: “Do People Do That?”
Amy Schumer boldly confessed to scheduling sex with her husband on this morning’s episode of The View.
The comedian, who appeared on the talk show to promote her new Netflix comedy Kinda Pregnant, revealed what she and her husband, Chris Fischer, plan to do for their upcoming wedding anniversary — which happens to fall the day before Valentine’s Day.
“Well, actually, that is the weekend of the SNL 50th [anniversary special]. So, I think I get a plus one. Otherwise, I’ll just ditch him,” Schumer joked.
In all seriousness, the actress added, “We’re pretty corny. We will make love. We will make sweet love.”
Schumer told the co-hosts that they “schedule” their sexy time, noting that they also do it on birthdays.
“There’s never a vibe. It never just happens. Do people do that?” she asked, to which Sunny Hostin replied, “Yes, because you’ve got to get it in. You’ve got to get it in. You’ve got to schedule time to get it in, man.”
The ladies previously debated whether they preferred spontaneous sex or scheduled sex during a February 2023 episode of The View.
“I’m all for planning ahead. You need that extra time. You need to get in the right mindset to picture different people, for example,” Joy Behar joked at the time. “The martini in the afternoon on an empty stomach is good. I approve of that.”
“If you’re scheduling it, you have time to warm yourself up and have your own foreplay session with yourself,” she added. “You say, ‘OK, Friday night at 8 o’clock we’re gonna do it, right?’ So at 7 o’clock you watch a porn movie, you read a book and now you’re ready.”
It’s too bad Behar was off from her co-hosting duties today, because we’re sure she would’ve had some interesting input!
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
