Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro are ‘lowkey’ dating: report

Tick, tick, boom, go their hearts!
Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro are reportedly dating.
While it’s not clear how long the “We Live in Time” actor, 41, and the “A Complete Unknown” actress, 34, have been an item, the pair has seemingly been trying to fly under the radar.
“They’ve been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” a source told People on Friday.
Representatives for both Garfield and Barbaro did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment.
Notably, the reportedly couple was seen together at W Magazine’s annual Best Performances event in Los Angeles on Jan. 4, where they posed alongside Garfield’s pal Eddie Redmayne and journalist Lynn Hirschberg.
Earlier this week, they were seen seated together in the audience of a performance of “Richard II” starring Jonathan Bailey at the Bridge Theatre in London’s West End.
A video shared on Instagram on Thursday showed the pair dressed discreetly in baseball caps, gabbing before the performance began.
Garfield’s last known romantic relationship was with spiritual reader Kate Tomas. The pair reportedly first linked in March 2024 but parted ways “months” before Tomas confirmed their breakup in a comment posted on Instagram last October.
Previously, Garfield had been involved with “Amazing Spider-Man” co-star Emma Stone during the 2010s and dated model Alyssa Miller in late 2021 before their reported split in April 2022.
In an October 2024 interview with Esquire, the Oscar-nominated “Hacksaw Ridge” actor made it clear that he prefers to keep his personal life private.
“I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever,” Garfield said.
Around the same time, Garfield also told YouTuber Amelia Dimoldenberg that he is a very “private” person while chatting on her “Chicken Shop Date” show.
Barbaro, known for her role in “Top Gun: Maverick,” was rumored to be dating “Ray Donovan” actor Guy Burnet, 41, after the pair were seen together leaving a hotel during Paris Fashion Week last September, thought those rumors were never substantiated.
Starring as young Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” opposite Timothée Chalamet as the iconic musician, Barbaro has earned her first Academy Award nomination this year in the Best Supporting Actress category.
Eyes will be peeled come March 2 to see whether Garfield and Barbaro go red carpet official on the Oscars red carpet.
