Spring college football practices are about to kick off, and Heisman Trophy odds are already pinpointing Arch Manning as the Heisman Trophy favorite.

ESPN BET oddsmakers are making Texas’ star quarterback a +700 favorite to win the award, followed by LSU signal caller Garrett Nussmeier (+800).

Ewers was the preseason favorite (+800) to win the Heisman Trophy last season.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik comes in at +1200, while Ohio State star receiver Jeremiah Smith also owns +1200 odds, the highest preseason odds for any non-quarterback.

Manning should have a loaded offense for Texas, as the star quarterback loses some pieces on offense but the Longhorns will reload as they usually do.

Running back Jaydon Blue should be replaced by CJ Baxter, among several changes Texas will have to make.

Texas, which has a massive stash of NIL resources, had the No. 1 recruiting class for the incoming 2025 year, according to 247 sports.
