Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend showed her all the love on Valentine’s Day

Cupid’s arrows are flying for Caitlin Clark and her partner this Valentine’s Day.

Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, posted a black-and-white image of the two to his Instagram story, captioned with “V day,” added with, “Love you @caitlinclark22,” tagging her in the post.

The couple started dating in June 2023 after they met as student-athletes at the University of Iowa, where McCaffery played on the men’s basketball team.

McCaffery’s Instagram post comes just weeks after the two celebrated Clark’s 23rd birthday on Jan. 22.

“Happy 23rd CC (finally we’re celebrating together this year)! You have an incredible ability to inspire and lift up those around you, and I am lucky to learn from you every day. Thank you for always being you. I love you,” McCaffery wrote on Instagram for Clark’s birthday.

Clark and McCaffery celebrated their first anniversary together on Apr. 25, 2024, where, this time, Clark took to social media to show her appreciation.

“One year of the best mems w my fav person,” Clark wrote in her post last year, “You make everyday better and I can’t wait for many more adventures together… love you.”

The couple has often been spotted at various sporting events, including a Yankees game in August, along with a charity gala for the Pacers in November.

McCaffery is currently a part of Butler University’s men’s basketball coaching staff, following a short stint working for the Indiana Pacers.

The 26-year-old is also the son of famed Iowa men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery, whom he played under alongside his brother, Patrick, during his college career.

Clark was a member of the Hawkeyes from 2020-24, where she set the NCAA Division 1 career scoring record for both men’s and women’s basketball.

The university retired Clark’s number, No. 22, on Feb. 2.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year is currently gearing up for her second year with the Indiana Fever.

Clark revealed in November that she would not be participating in the ongoing 3-on-3 professional women’s basketball league Unrivaled.
