In 2018, Moody Blues drummer Graeme Edge passed away and, after 54 years together, the legendary classic rock group officially disbanded.

However, that doesn’t mean members of the band aren’t still active.

This year, both former frontman Justin Hayward and co-lead vocalist John Lodge have announced solo tours of their own that will take each of them all over North America.

Hayward, 78, has 15 shows lined up from April through May this year including five in Florida.

“We are always trying to do something original and fresh, and to be able to share these songs, true to the spirit in which they were written, is a joy,” he shared on Instagram after wrapping his 2024 tour. The songs, and an audience that brings that sprinkle of stardust to the music every night, lift us to a truly ethereal place.”

Meanwhile, the 81-year-old Lodge just kicked off his ‘Performs Days of Future Passed Tour’ at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on Feb. 19. He’ll be on the road until late March.

Along the way, he’ll stop into Red Bank, NJ’s Count Basie Center for the Arts on Sunday, Feb. 23 and Westbury, NY’s Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

“Be taken back in time with John and his rocking band, and see this incredible show that will leave you with memories long after the music fades,” his Instagram reads.

At his first gig, he played 13 Moody Blues classics including “Tuesday Afternoon,” “Nights in White Satin” and “Ride My See Saw” among others according to Set List FM.

In fact, after a bit of review, we found there was surprisingly little overlap between the songs the two sang at their concerts.
