With Jalen Hurts and Kenny Pickett sidelined by injuries and gearing up for the playoffs, Eagles third-string quarterback Tanner McKee completed 27 of 41 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns in his first career start.

Down by four, Boogie Basham jumped offside on fourth-and-3 with two minutes remaining, which allowed the Eagles to run another 69 seconds off the clock and forced the Giants to use all three of their timeouts to regain possession.

Dru Phillips jumped offside on an earlier fourth down. 



Unsung hero

Oren Burks had 24 tackles in the first 16 games of the season for the Eagles but cleaned up in his chance to shine with most starters resting.

He made 17 tackles, including two for loss.
