Hurst Fire may have been caused by damaged power line, says electrical company Edison International
A downed power line may have caused the Hurst Fire in Los Angeles, officials say.
The damaged line was found in the area around the time when the blaze is believed to have started, about 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to Edison International in a press release.
Still, it’s not clear whether the line was damaged before the blaze or after, the power company said.
