The Robbie Williams movie Better Man opens wide in theaters in the U.S. this weekend, which means that Americans can finally learn who the heck Robbie Williams is.

Directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman), Better Man is a musical biopic about, and starring, Robbie Williams, a British pop singer who made it big in the U.K. in the ’90s, but who never took off across the pond. But this isn’t just any musician biopic: This is a musician biopic in which the lead role is played by a CGI chimpanzee, with a voiceover from Williams. Hey, at least it’s different!

Written by Gracey, Simon Gleeson, and Oliver Cole, Better Man takes viewers through Williams’ childhood in Stoke-on-Trent, England, through his success with the band Take That, to his struggles with alcohol and addiction. Did we mention that this movie is also a musical?

Where to watch the Robbie Williams movie Better Man:

Robbie Williams’ Better Man movie will only be available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in theaters worldwide on January 10. (The film opened in the U.K. on December 26, and had a limited U.S. release on December 25.) You can find a showing near you via Fandango. Better Man is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.

Is Robbie Williams’ Better Man movie streaming on Netflix or Prime Video?

Better Man is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video, and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is a Paramount Pictures release in North America. Almost all Paramount movies go to Paramount’s streaming platform, Paramount+, and not to Netflix.

You will be able to purchase Better Man on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream Better Man on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription any time soon. If you want to watch Better Man movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Paramount+.

When will the Better Man movie be streaming on Paramount+?

The Better Man Paramount+ streaming date has not yet been announced. Right now, the movie is only in theaters. That said, we do expect to see Better Man streaming on Paramount+ eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another recent Paramount film, Smile 2, was released in theaters on October 18; released on digital platforms one month after opening in theaters, on November 19; and began streaming on Paramount+ a little less than two months after opening in theaters, on December 3.

If Better Man follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie on digital around early February 2025, and streaming on Paramount+ around March 2025.

But this is all speculation. If you want to watch Better Man right away, you can catch the movie in theaters.
