Ivanka Trump reflects on ‘life’s lessons’ after 43rd birthday
Ivanka Trump’s Life Lessons.
After celebrating her 43rd birthday on Oct. 30 and reflecting on “life’s lessons,” the former first daughter shared “some truths” she’s “learned along the way” via X.
The first pointer the mom of three listed is that family and friends are “everything.”
“Nourish these relationships, check in on them, and let people know you care, even across distances,” she said. “As Esther Perel says, ‘The quality of your relationships determines the quality of your life.’”
The second pearl of wisdom she offered was to “forgive people” because it “frees you more than anyone else.”
Trump’s third offering is that everyone was “sent” to teach something.
“Every person you meet holds a mirror to a lesson your soul needs to grow,” she explained.
The blond beauty — who converted to Orthodox Judaism before marrying her Jewish husband, Jared Kushner — then suggested that people avoid “Lashon Hara,” which means gossip in Hebrew.
“Choose words that heal, not harm,” she said.
Trump also said that one must trust themselves, “identify core values” and “live in alignment with them.”
“This may mean setting firm boundaries for yourself and with others,” she explained.
The oldest daughter of former President Donald Trump reflected on her physical health as well, saying that it is important to “nourish your body.”
“Eating whole, locally grown, nutritious foods fuels your energy and spirit. (But enjoy that occasional piece of cake without guilt—indulgence is one of life’s joys too!” she wrote.
The former fashion designer also reminded her followers that it’s important to “get sunshine daily” because it makes the rest of one’s day and night “better.”
She went on to quote Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, writing “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.”
The “Women Who Work” author then added her own interpretation to the line, writing, “Bring awareness to your hidden patterns, or they’ll quietly script your life story as if it were destiny.”
Because Ivanka believes that a strong body creates a strong mind, she recommended moving the body daily.
“Lift weights, play sports, and embrace play,” she said.
Ivanka noted that she also strives for “three daily wins,” adding that the wins should be physical, mental and spiritual.
The Miami resident shared that one should also “cultivate self-mastery,” and “guide your peace.”
Another one of her lessons is that people should be “open to the truth, wherever it leads.”
“Listen, reflect, challenge, and grow. Cultivate creativity and expansion in life and embrace new ideas, connections, and art,” she said.
She further noted that one should also be curious about “your partner, your kids, your friends, and the world around you.”
“Approach people and life with love and positivity,” she said before quoting Dolly Parton who said, “I don’t criticize and condemn; I love and accept.”
Ivanka went on to quote Henry David Thoreau, who said “The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.” She added that one should spend their time on “what truly matters.”
Lastly, she quoted Jung again, adding, “Thinking is difficult; that’s why most people judge.”
“What you judge, you cannot understand. Instead, observe, study, and learn,” Ivanka wrote. “Here’s to another year of growth, love, and meaningful moments! ❤️✨”
