The heat is on!
Billionaire Miami Heat owner and cruise czar Micky Arison has sold a luxury Bal Harbour, Florida condo for $5.75 million via a trust, the Real Deal reported.
The four-bedroom, 5½-bathroom spread is at Bal Harbour Tower, at 9999 Collins Ave. It was asking $6.99 million last fall. Arison bought it via a trust for $3.4 million in 2020.
Arison, who is worth an estimated $9 billion, is also the chairman and former CEO of Carnival Corporation, which was founded by his father Ted Arison in 1972.
The 5,070-square-foot home boasts 2,000 square feet of terraces with views of the ocean, downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. It was renovated in 2021.
Building amenities include security, direct keyed elevator access, a private restaurant bar, an Olympic-sized pool and beach club services.
There’s also a gym, a spa and Pilates.
The 16th-floor “mansion in the sky” features a single-family home vibe, with an open chef’s kitchen and a walk-in pantry, staff quarters and laundry, as well as a home gym. It’s in a 25-story tower that was built in 1990.
The listing broker was Chad Carroll of Compass. The buyer was repped by Leonor Ortiz, also of Compass.
