Michael Rapaport wants Taylor Swift to cry if Chiefs lose Super Bowl 2025
Michael Rapaport wishes the worst for Taylor Swift and her lover.
The comedian, 54, made it clear on the “94WIP Morning Show With DeCamara & Ritchie” on Tuesday that he’s rooting against Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs at the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday.
“I am hoping to see Taylor Swift cry,” Rapaport said. “I want to see if her mascara can hold up after a ginormous loss.”
He added, “And we know she loves her man when he’s winning, but will she still ride with him when he takes a ginormous loss?”
Swift’s boyfriend, 35, is playing against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX this coming weekend.
Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, confirmed already that Swift, 35, will be at the game in New Orleans.
On the radio show, Rapaport — who is a New York Giants fan — reiterated that he doesn’t want Swift to get her way at the Super Bowl this time.
“She’s up there with — you never know who’s going to be in the booth. I want to see that mascara running on Sunday, running,” he said.
“I want to hear her call out, like, Isiah Pacheco or Andy Reid [like], ‘Why didn’t he throw the ball to my boyfriend?’ I wanna hear that kind of confusion and chaos.”
Rapaport added that he wants Swift to “get super petty” and “point fingers” over the game.
The “Only Murders in the Building” actor complained about Travis and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, as well.
“I’m sick and tired of Mahomes, sick and tired of Travis Kelce’s mustache and his haircuts,” Rapaport told the radio hosts.
Swift has been dating Travis since the early fall of 2023. She’s expected to be at her second Super Bowl in a row to cheer on the tight end this weekend.
Last year, Swift flew to Las Vegas after her Eras Tour show in Tokyo and watched the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime at Super Bowl LVIII.
Swift watched the game with her mom and her pals Blake Lively and Ice Spice. After the Chiefs won, the “Blank Space” singer kissed Travis on the field during the postgame celebration.
Heading into the 2025 Super Bowl, Travis spoke at a press conference on Monday about how Swift motivates him to be a better football player.
“I better hold up my end of the bargain, right?” he said at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where the big game is taking place. “I mean, if she’s out here being the superstar she is, never taking no for an answer, and always working her tail off, I better match that energy for sure.”
Travis was also asked if he’ll get down on one knee and propose to Swift after Super Bowl Sunday.
“Wouldn’t you like to know,” he quipped.
