These steamy Pornhub searches spiked during Super Bowl 2025
The Eagles weren’t the only ones focused on going deep.
An eye-popping 126 million Americans tuned into the Super Bowl on Sunday night — but naughty NFL fans also enjoyed an abundance of off-field entertainment, clearly aroused by the big game.
Exclusive data shared by Pornhub shows searches for football-themed videos surged on the platform during and after the Philadelphia Eagles’ 40 -22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The X-rated website told The Post that searches for the term “Super Bowl” jumped a whopping 8032%, while “American football player” increased 4108% and “football player jerk off” shot up 3931%.
“Hung jock” saw a sizable 1284% search increase, while interest in the phrase “locker room boner” grew 240%.
Meanwhile, some porn perusing people were aroused by the sights on the sidelines — with interest in cheerleader-related content also taking over Pornhub.
“Hot horny cheerleader” was up 734%, “thick cheerleader” expanded 593%, and “cheerleader orgy” rocketed 380%.
“Cheerleader threesome” also saw a significant search buzz, up 180%.
While Super Bowl-inspired searches increased overall, the data shows that Pornhub experienced a significant decline in traffic at the start of the annual event.
In the Eagles’ home state of Pennsylvania, traffic was down 43% as excited locals switched from NSFW to NFL.
But in the wake of the team’s decisive victory, ecstatic Keystone State viewers decided to celebrate with some steamy scenes. By 1 a.m., traffic was 13% higher than it usually is at that time of night in the land of cheesesteaks and chipped chopped ham sandwiches.
In Missouri, meanwhile, site visits only dipped 24% during the game. Perhaps the Show-Me State’s sustained interest in sex can be attributed to the fact that the Chiefs won both the 2023 and 2023 Super Bowl titles — suggesting football fatigue.
However, amorous Americans all across the country appeared to put a pause on porn to take in Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show.
Based on per-minute pageview data, U.S. traffic hit its lowest point at 8:01 p.m., dropping 68% just before the halftime show began.
Pornhub described the plunge as “one of the largest momentary declines our statisticians have ever recorded during a live sporting event.”
