UK is interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris
Sound the election interference alarm! A foreign power is trying to sway US votes on behalf of a presidential candidate!
That would be Kamala Harris, of course: Britain’s Labour party desperately wants to see her elected.
In a now deleted LinkedIn post, Labour Head of Operations Sofia Patel bragged that about 100 Labour staffers were heading to America to do get-out-the-vote work for Harris, noting “ten spots available” for North Carolina work and promised that the party would “sort your housing.”
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has tried to pretend this criminal move is kosher by saying the staffers were doing this in their spare time.
Perfidious Albion never rests.
Ignore Starmer’s gormless blubbing: An explosive document leak shows that the Center for Countering Digital Hate, a Labour-loyal “advisory group” just as Orwellian as its name suggests, literally lists “Kill Musk’s Twitter” as its No. 1 goal.
Indeed, the CCDH and other Labour arms have a long history of pushing “anti-disinformation” censorship efforts on both sides of the Atlantic
Musk’s freeing of Twitter/X speech, and opening the Twitter Files books on what had gone on before, was a huge setback to the nefarious effort.
Damningly, CCDH founder Morgan McSweeney is both a Harris adviser and PM Starmer’s chief of staff.
Russiagate, recall, was a phony scandal fabricated by Dem operatives, MI6 washouts and our very own Spies Who Lie; by contrast, this outrage is 100% real.
Sure, it’s funny to imagine a cadre of effete British leftists knocking doors for Harris in swing-state America (Sacha Baron Cohen, get on this ASAP!).
But the Trump campaign is dead right to file a formal Federal Election Commission complaint over the influence op.
It’s almost certainly illegal, definitely unethical and utterly revelatory of the deep contempt the Harris campaign (and all Dems) have for the norms they weepily proclaim sacred.
And to Starmer, McSweeney and every other political wide boy who wants to screw with the Red, White and Blue, we say: Remember Yorktown and keep your operatives on the other side of the pond.
