What was a sure bet in UConn has turned into a mystery
Connecticut coach Geno Auriemma and guards Paige Bueckers and KK Arnold looked dejected in Thursday’s postgame news conference following their 80-76 loss to No. 19 Tennessee.
It marked the third time this season Auriemma and his players were fielding questions about what went wrong.
If only the answers to those questions, though, were so simple.
Auriemma could look at the silver linings from Thursday’s game, the fifth meeting between the two storied programs since they renewed the rivalry in 2020.
