Zach Bryan’s silence ‘proves his character’ after abuse claims
Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia blasted her ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan’s silence amid her abuse claims.
The “BFFs” podcast co-host told listeners on Wednesday that his lack of response has been “deafening” and “proves his character again.”
The 25-year-old added, “I obviously think he’s not responding because if he is to respond, he has to deny it … and then I post all the videos and the recordings.”
Elsewhere in the episode, LaPaglia said that the “miserable” country singer, 28, “is never going to be happy in his life ever.”
She quipped, “Good luck to him.”
Since LaPaglia accused the songwriter of emotional abuse on last week’s episode — and called him out for an alleged $12 million offer to stay silent — Bryan has only posted cryptic Instagram Stories.
The Grammy winner, notably, shared a quote from Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road.”
The excerpt read, “I didn’t know what to say. I felt like crying, Goddammit everybody in the world wants an explanation for your acts and for your very being.”
He also posted screenshots of the songs he was listening to at the time, including J.R. Carroll’s “Hometown Hero” and Matt Maeson’s “Cringe.”
Bryan has continued promoting his music and performances via Instagram.
He and LaPaglia began dating in the summer of 2023 after his year long relationship with Deb Peifer — and his marriage to Rose Madden.
Bryan’s exes have signed non-disclosure agreements, according to LaPaglia.
“I don’t think you can pay people off that you hurt [and expect] for them to protect you,” the Barstool Sports personality said last week. “I think that’s f–ked up.”
Peifer has been active on TikTok since LaPaglia’s claims, using Taylor Swift lyrics to tell her followers she’s “better off.”
Dave Portnoy and Zach Richards praised the shady upload on “BFFs” Wednesday, pointing out the “little hints” she included.
